Matthew (“Mac”) Reynolds recently returned to join Reynolds & Associates after spending the last few years practicing law in California (he is currently licensed to practice in both California and Nevada). In Los Angeles, Mr. Reynolds was a litigation associate at Proskauer Rose, where he worked for clients ranging from multi-billion dollar corporations to entertainment conglomerates and artists such as Ticketmaster, U2 and Smashing Pumpkins.
Prior to his employment at Proskauer, Mac Reynolds worked in the corporate law department at Sullivan & Cromwell. He received his Juris Doctorate at U.C.L.A. School of Law, where he was a member of the Entertainment Law Review and was a recipient of both the Paul Miller Copyright and DeGarmo Scholarships. In 2007, his essay on the state of the music industry (and a blueprint for making it profitable again) won grand prize in the Grammy Foundation’s Entertainment Law Initiative. Mr. Reynolds is also a published author, with articles printed in multiple law reviews and journals. Before law school, he was valedictorian of his high school and earned a bachelor’s degree in English on a full ride scholarship.
Mr. Reynolds also manages artists in the music industry, including Imagine Dragons (Interscope/KidInaKorner) and Paper Route (Universal Republic).
